Box Office Hours

Tickets are available to purchase at the UHH Theatre Box Office, school days, Monday through Friday 12:00am – 6:00 pm. The Box Office opens 2 hours prior to the beginning of a performance. To provide better service to our patrons, no tickets for advance shows will be sold during the half hour before a performance. The UHH Theatre Box Office is located on the UH Hilo Theatre Lanai at 200 West Kawili Street in Hilo, Hawaii.

Tickets for UHH Theatre Season events may be purchased over the phone at 974-7310 during the above hours with a Mastercard or Visa. You may also purchase tickets online by going here. There is no service charge for ordering by phone or online. Sorry, there are no refunds. All sales are final.

Discounts

Discounted tickets are available for University of Hawai'i faculty/staff, youth 12-16, and Senior Citizens, if purchased at least one day before the event. Deeply discounted tickets are available for UHH students with current ID (sorry, only 1 ticket per ID) -- ID's will be checked at the door. Special children's prices are available for certain events. NOTE:There will be no discounts given on the day of performance.

Child Attendance Policy

Performances that list a Child price are considered suitable for children ages 12 & under to attend. This year, we have included a special 4 event season for children. We encourage and welcome children to attend such shows. If the child will be occupying a seat, a ticket must be purchased for that child. Most performances are not suitable for children under 5 years old. If a child is brought to a show where a child price is not available, the Youth (ages 12-18) discount will be applied. If no Youth price is available, the child will be charged for a general ticket.

Exchange Policy

The University of Hawaii at Hilo Theatre does not make refunds on any purchases or accept tickets for resale. If, for emergency reasons, you are unable to attend a show that you have purchased tickets for please contact the Box Office Manager a minimum of 48 hours prior to the show you cannot attend. In some cases we will allow an equal exchange for another event that is part of our regular season. Exchanges are made at the discretion of the Box Office Manager.

On The Evening Of Performance

Evening shows start promptly at 7:30pm. All patrons should be seated prior to 7:30pm. Latecomers may be asked to wait until a suitable pause in the performance, or intermission, to be seated.

By contractual agreement with the artists, photographs and audio or video recordings are strictly prohibited.

No food or drink is allowed inside the theatre or lobby area.

Beepers/cell phones are not to be used in the theatre. Please silence all cell phones & beepers upon entering the theatre.

PATRONS WITH DISABILITIES

The UHH Theatre is fully ADA compliant. For disability accommodation, contact Heidi Veilleux at 933-3209 at least two weeks prior to the event.

For your convenience, patrons using wheelchairs should meet our House Manager in the lobby 40 minutes before show time to be seated. Please notify the box office when you purchase tickets.
