HIGHLIGHTS Outstanding! Evocative! Refreshing! Extraordinary! Rodolfo
Vazquez, flutist, was born in Mexico City. He served as assistant flute professor
at the National Conservatory of Music and as principl flutist in the National
Conservatory Philharmonic Orchestra, both in Mexico City.
Rodolfo has
performed as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles in the U.S. and in Mexico,
and he is currently the director of CALIDO VIENTO, the NOTTINGHAM TRIO, BACHIANA,
SILVER AND SPRUCE and the OHIO HISPANIC FINE ARTS ASSOCIATION.
He has
been awarded twice with Ohio Arts Council grants for CD recording projects and
he is a member of the Ohio Arts Council-Artists on Tour roster. He has studied
with the celebrated James Galway, Alain Marion and Geoffrey Gilbert.
Craig
Goodwin, guitarist, a prolific songwriter since the age of ten, has penned more
than 200 compositions to date, a number of which have been published in Nashville.
He has worked as a writer, arranger, guitarist, pianist and vocalist for twenty-five
years. Craig has recorded with The Kings of Hollywood, Calido Viento,
and Silver and Spruce and been featured as an opening act for entertainers of
the caliber of Jonathan Edwards and Richard Thompson.
Craig graduated
from the Ohio University School of Communicating Arts and today tours throughout
America performing his own music as well as stylized adaptations of classical
and contemporary music. |
