Chauvin- Tuba The New Century Brass, a most unusual and versatile
Brass Quintet, tantalized audiences at Disneyland as The Make Believe Brass with
their blend of musical virtuosity and playful antics. They perform a wide variety
of original arrangements of light classics, novelty and jazz tunes in programs
ranging from pops to "legit," musical comedy shows to traditional chamber
music concerts and symphonic pops. The group has concertized extensively throughout
the U.S. as well as their home state of Califomia. Currently, they are finishing
their second album for release on Crystal Records. The members of The
New Century Brass are both virtuoso performers and accomplished music arrangers
with the unique ability to customize their music to an event. Typical programs
might include show music of the Big Band Era, Dixieland, jazz, international folk
music and classical masterworks often performed with an unexpected twist. After
spending an evening with The New Century Brass, we are sure you will agree
that it is a brass ensemble delighting us with their performances now and into
the next century. What The Critics Say ".The concert
